OVERVIEW

Arunima offers pure and natural Beta-Pinene (ex Mentha oil) that has dry-woody, fresh-pine, resinous odour. Optically active and racemic β-pinene are present in turpentine oils, although in smaller quantities than (+)-α-pinene. It is one of the two isomers of pinene, the other being α-pinene. Beta-Pinene emits aromas of dill, parsley, and basil.

It is the major monoterpene of pine essential oils and a hydrocarbon group of bicyclic terpenes with astrong turpentine odour. It offers various medicinal benefits and wide applications in flavour industry.
It can be used to help treat asthma, and it also has antiseptic properties, which makes it important in things like wound cleaning, sterilisation and protection against contaminants and bacteria, as well as viruses. Also, it is known to have potential anti-cancer benefits which makes it an important terpene. This liquid is dense than water and hence, insoluble in water.
