OVERVIEW
Cis-3-Hexenyl acetate, also known as Leaf acetate, is obtained by esterification of cis-3-hexenol, which in turn is obtained by the fractionation of Mentha Arvensis oil, steam distilled oil from the plant Mentha Arvensis. It is a colourless, clear transparent liquid with fresh green fruity odour especially pear, cherry, banana. Its tropical nuance is excellent for mango, peach, passion fruit and kiwi flavors.
