OVERVIEW
(+)-Dihydrocarvone, Cyclohexanone, is a monoterpenoid compound, colourless oil possessing an odour which resembles carvone and menthone. It is used in flavour and fragrance industry because of its minty type odour and an green type flavour. It is found in caraway oil, is a key building block to synthesise sesquiterpenes.
